New seed library at Spitalfields City Farm

We’re excited to advertise this opportunity from Spitalfields City Farm. The farm are looking for Seed Ambassadors to help set up a Tower Hamlets Community Seed Library.

The seed library will be using interactive technologies so members can learn about the people who donated the seeds and the conditions under which they were grown.

They are looking for Seed Ambassadors who are based in East London who can document their experiences of a full growing cycle from seed to seed for one or two crops – and donate these stories and seeds to the library.

They are offering some excellent incentives to get involved including budget for gardening costs (up to £30 for compost and seeds), a digital camera which is yours to keep, as well as lots of training and networking opportunities.
